Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.Latest forecasts from meteorological agencies indicate a daily maximum temperature in Shanghai of 31–32°C on August 25, driven by typical late-summer subtropical conditions with moderate humidity around 60–75% and scattered cloud cover limiting peak solar heating. Regional models show easterly flow and possible sea-breeze effects moderating extremes, consistent with historical August averages near 31°C and no active heatwave or strong high-pressure system intensifying readings. Trader consensus aligns closely with these outputs, assigning over 90% combined implied probability to 31°C or 32°C while discounting 33°C or higher due to limited intensification potential ahead of the resolution window. Updated model runs overnight will refine the final observed high from official stations.
