Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.Trader consensus has converged on the 78-79°F outcome at full implied probability following official observations from the National Weather Service at Chicago O’Hare International Airport, the primary resolution station. This reading aligns with National Weather Service model guidance for a stable air mass, light northwest winds shifting northeast, and Lake Michigan moderation suppressing peak temperatures below late-August climatological normals near 82°F. Recent cooler-than-normal conditions on August 23 further limited warming despite mostly sunny skies. The market’s 100% positioning reflects verified data rather than forecast uncertainty, though minor resolution risk remains from station-specific microclimate effects or post-observation revisions.
