Recent polling, including a Quaest survey released August 24, shows a fragmented field for Rio Grande do Norte's two open Senate seats, with Styvenson Valentim (Podemos) leading overall while Zenaide Maia (PSD), Samanda de Lula (PT), Rafael Motta (PDT), and Coronel Hélio (PL) remain closely bunched for the second position amid 78% spontaneous indecision. Official campaigning began August 16 ahead of the October 4 vote, and voters select two names, intensifying competition for the lower-ranked seat. Trader prices reflect this uncertainty, with no single contender dominating implied probabilities as parties finalize coalitions and candidates emphasize local priorities like health, infrastructure, and economic development. Further shifts could emerge from upcoming debates, turnout patterns in key regions, or last-minute endorsements that consolidate support among undecided voters.
