Gustavo Gayer (PL) leads the trader consensus for second place in Goiás’s October 4 Senate election, drawing support from recent Paraná Pesquisas polling that placed him at 27.1 percent—several points ahead of Vanderlan Cardoso (PSD) and within range of other contenders in a crowded field. Gracinha Caiado’s stronger first-place showing fragments the remaining vote, leaving the battle for the second seat contested among Gayer, the incumbent Cardoso, Gustavo Mendanha, Dr. Zacharias Calil, and several lower-polling names. Tight margins in successive surveys, combined with limited late momentum shifts and a multi-candidate ballot, sustain the competitive pricing across outcomes.
