Željka Cvijanović holds the leading trader consensus for the Serb seat on Bosnia and Herzegovina’s tripartite Presidency ahead of the October 4, 2026 general elections, reflecting her incumbency since 2022 and nomination by the dominant SNSD party in Republika Srpska. The party’s organizational strength and voter base in the entity remain intact following Milorad Dodik’s 2025 departure and Siniša Karan’s narrow victory in the November 2025 RS presidential contest, confirmed after a February 2026 rerun in select districts. Unified coalition backing for Cvijanović, announced in late June 2026 alongside Savo Minić’s RS presidential bid, has reinforced her position against a fragmented opposition field that includes Marinko Božović, Draško Stanivuković, Nebojša Vukanović, and others. Recent institutional tensions within the state Presidency have not altered entity-level electoral dynamics or SNSD’s established edge in RS voting patterns for this office.
