Recent polling shows the Parti Québécois holding a consistent lead near 30 percent, while the Liberals, CAQ, and Conservatives cluster in the low-to-mid 20s and teens, leaving third place highly contested among those three parties. New leadership for the CAQ and Liberals, combined with roughly half of decided voters remaining open to switching preferences, sustains volatility in the popular vote shares. Regional variations and the split federalist vote further complicate the ordering behind the PQ front-runner. With the official campaign now underway ahead of the October 5 election, shifts in francophone support, turnout patterns, or late campaign events could alter which of the closely grouped contenders finishes third. Trader pricing reflects this narrow gap and remaining uncertainty.
