Recent polling shows the Parti Québécois maintaining a narrow lead at around 30% among decided voters ahead of the October 5 election, driven by strong francophone support that enhances its seat efficiency in regional ridings. The multi-party field, with the Liberals and Coalition Avenir Québec tied near 23% and Conservatives at 15-16%, creates vote-splitting among non-sovereigntists and leaves many ridings competitive. High levels of undecided voters, near 50% in recent surveys, sustain uncertainty in seat projections that cluster around 60 seats. Developments such as campaign messaging on sovereignty, francophone turnout, or shifts in regional polling could widen the range by altering PQ performance in swing districts.
