**Morocco’s September 23 legislative elections for the 395-seat House of Representatives remain tightly contested among the ruling coalition parties.** The Authenticity and Modernity Party (PAM) has built recent momentum through high-profile recruitment, including budget minister Fouzi Lekjaa, while the National Rally of Independents (RNI) retains organizational strength and the Istiqlal Party (PI) draws on established territorial networks. Internal coalition frictions over candidate poaching and parliamentary probes have surfaced alongside broader voter distrust and high undecided shares in surveys. Proportional representation across local and regional lists, combined with the decisive role of constituency-level candidates, sustains uncertainty over which party secures the most seats. Scheduled campaign activity from September 10 and any late shifts in turnout or alliances could still alter the balance before voting.
