Recent polls for the September 6, 2026 Sachsen-Anhalt Landtagswahl place Bündnis 90/Die Grünen at 4–5% and BSW at 4–5%, with the Greens holding a narrow and consistent edge in most surveys from INSA, Infratest dimap, and pollytix through mid-August. The Grüne benefit from established parliamentary presence since 2021 and focused campaigning on climate, education, and democratic opposition to the AfD, while the newer BSW—despite stronger 2025 federal results in the state—has struggled to convert national momentum into state-level support near the 5% threshold. No major late-campaign events have reversed this pattern, leaving traders to price the modest but persistent polling differential as a 70.5% implied probability that Grüne will finish ahead on election night.
