**Die Linke maintains a commanding lead in trader consensus for third place in the September 6, 2026 Sachsen-Anhalt Landtag election, with recent polls from INSA, pollytix, and Infratest dimap consistently placing the party at 13–14%—well ahead of the SPD (5–7%), Grüne (4–5%), BSW (4–5%), and FDP (2–4%).** AfD leads at 41–43% and CDU follows at 22–24%, leaving Linke in a stable third position with little movement in the final weeks before voting. This positioning reflects steady polling trends since spring 2026, where Die Linke has held or slightly gained ground while smaller parties remain near or below the 5% threshold. The gap to potential challengers has not narrowed meaningfully despite the short campaign window, supporting the high implied probability reflected in current market pricing. Realistic shifts could occur only through a sharp late surge by SPD, BSW, or Grüne driven by turnout shifts or last-minute events, though no such momentum appears in the latest surveys.
