Recent polling averages for Sweden’s September 13 parliamentary election place Miljöpartiet (MP) slightly ahead of Kristdemokraterna (KD), with MP typically at 6.5–7.9% and KD at 5.8–8.5% across late-August surveys from Indikator, Novus, Verian, and others. This narrow but consistent edge supports traders’ 63% implied probability that MP will receive more votes. The campaign centers on cost of living, security, immigration, crime, and energy, with both parties functioning as smaller coalition components—MP within the opposition red-green bloc and KD in the Tidö government grouping alongside Moderaterna and Liberals. Fluctuations remain within margins of error, yet aggregate voter-intention data show MP holding the marginal advantage heading into the final weeks.
