Recent polls ahead of Sweden’s September 13 parliamentary election show the Center Party (C) edging or matching the Christian Democrats (KD) in voter support. August surveys from Indikator Opinion, Verian, Novus, and Ipsos place C between 5.9–8.0% and KD between 5.8–6.3%, with C ahead in most samples; one Demoskop poll had them nearly tied. C’s modest gains coincide with new leader Elisabeth Thand Ringqvist’s rising personal trust ratings and the party’s emphasis on a possible center coalition involving the Social Democrats. KD support has remained stable within the governing Tidö bloc amid a narrowing overall bloc gap. These patterns underpin traders’ 68% implied probability that C will finish ahead of KD on election night.
