Recent Swedish opinion polls ahead of the September 13 parliamentary election show Vänsterpartiet consistently ahead of Kristdemokraterna, with V at 7.4–9% support and KD at 5.8–6.5% across major surveys such as Indikator Opinion, Ipsos, Novus, and Sifo. This gap has held steady in the final weeks of the campaign, even as the broader right-wing bloc narrowed its deficit to the centre-left opposition. V’s positioning within the red-green opposition and KD’s role in the Tidö government have not produced major shifts in their relative standings. Traders’ consensus therefore reflects these polling trends and the limited time remaining for either party to reverse the pattern before votes are cast.
