This market will resolve to the temperature range that contains the highest temperature recorded by NOAA at the Singapore Changi Airport Station in degrees Celsius on 29 Aug '26. The resolution source for this market will be information from NOAA, specifically the highest reading under the "Temp" column for all times on this day, available here: https://www.weather.gov/wrh/timeseries?site=wsss If NOAA data is unavailable or missing for the observation period, Weather Underground will be used as the secondary resolution source. To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the "Switch to Metric Units" button until the relevant table displays °C. This market can not resolve until the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source. The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Celsius (eg, 9°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.**Recent official outlooks and model guidance position 33°C as the most probable daily maximum for Singapore on August 29 under prevailing Southwest Monsoon conditions.** The Meteorological Service Singapore’s fortnightly forecast for the second half of August explicitly states that daily maxima will likely range between 33–34°C on most days, with a chance of 35°C on isolated days, consistent with the elevated readings already observed throughout the month (multiple days above 33°C, peaking at 34.3°C). This reflects drier-than-average conditions that reduce cloud cover and allow stronger solar heating, pushing afternoon temperatures above the long-term August mean of 31.4°C. Short-range forecasts for the 29th vary modestly between 31–32°C in some global models and nearer 32–33°C in regional guidance, creating the observed market concentration around 33°C while assigning lower probability to 34°C or higher. With resolution only two days away, any late adjustments in steering flow or convective activity could shift the final observed maximum within the narrow 32–34°C band that dominates trader positioning.
