Traders are watching whether the firm can attract fresh inflows, as an investor letter explicitly invited additional commitments starting August 1 while highlighting attractive entry points after the rout. The fund retained high-value private holdings such as its Anthropic stake and quickly deployed $400 million more into chip-manufacturing startup Source Foundry, bringing that position to $500 million at a $5 billion valuation. An SEC inquiry into the leveraged unwind adds regulatory overhang, though prior net returns exceeding 400 percent through June underscore the skin-in-the-game conviction that could still draw capital from existing backers like Jane Street or the Collison brothers.
