**Hacks’ record 24 nominations for its fifth and final season position the series for multiple wins, with trader consensus centering on 2–3 total Emmys.** Jean Smart stands as the overwhelming favorite for Lead Actress in a Comedy Series—her potential fifth win for the show and an eighth career Emmy—while supporting nods for Hannah Einbinder and Megan Stalter, plus writing and directing recognition for the finale, supply additional pathways. Strong critical reception for the May series conclusion and consistent guild/precursor momentum bolster these categories. However, competition from Widow’s Bay (19 nominations) in Best Comedy Series and several acting races, combined with historical patterns where the most-nominated comedy converts only about 42% of the time at the top level, caps expectations and explains the 55% implied probability on 2–3 wins versus lower odds for a larger haul. Final voting closes August 26 ahead of the September ceremony.
