Pluribus, Vince Gilligan’s freshman Apple TV+ drama starring Rhea Seehorn, earned 18 Emmy nominations in July 2026—the most ever for a first-year Gilligan series—including bids for Outstanding Drama Series, lead actress, supporting acting, directing, and technical categories. This strong showing, bolstered by early critical acclaim and guild-level recognition, drives the market’s heavy lean toward 2-3 wins as the consensus outcome. Traders see limited upside beyond that given fierce competition in drama categories from frontrunners like The Pitt and established programs, alongside typical patterns where new series convert only a fraction of nominations. The September ceremony remains the key catalyst, with late momentum from reviews or precursors potentially shifting the 0-1 or 4-5 brackets.
