Monday episodes of The Five have drawn the strongest viewership in recent Nielsen data, with the Aug 17 broadcast leading the week at over 3.5 million total viewers compared to lower figures on Tuesday through Friday. This pattern aligns with broader cable news trends where audiences return in greater numbers after the weekend, boosting the roundtable’s consistent lead as Fox News’ top program. Traders have placed heavy weight on this established Monday advantage, reflected in its dominant implied probability, while other days show more even but lower consensus amid typical midweek fluctuations and no standout late-week events shifting the trajectory.
