America's Got Talent Season 21 quarterfinals opened live on August 18 with 11 acts competing for advancement, and results revealed on August 19 highlighted voting dynamics and judge influence. Howie Mandel's Golden Buzzer sent magic group Hundred Fingers straight to the finals, while audience votes propelled rapper Luke Taleno, dog trainer Olivia Befus, and dance trio Royal Lasers to the semifinals. The format across four weekly rounds awards one automatic finalist via the live Golden Buzzer each week and three more via public vote, with the remaining acts eliminated. Momentum now shifts to the August 25 performances and August 26 results, where factors like standout variety acts, emotional deliveries, and social media buzz could sway the next batch of semifinalists amid historically unpredictable viewer preferences.
