Grand Theft Auto VI leads The Game Awards 2026 Game of the Year market at 61.5% implied probability due to its status as one of the most anticipated releases in gaming history, with a confirmed November 19 launch just days ahead of eligibility deadlines. Traders see the Rockstar title as a near-lock for nomination and victory if it meets expectations, reflecting strong cultural momentum and historical precedent for major open-world blockbusters. Other listed contenders, including Resident Evil Requiem at 10.5% and Phantom Blade Zero at 6%, trail significantly amid uncertainty over review windows, jury access, and competition from established franchises. Upcoming factors like final marketing pushes, early hands-on impressions, and any last-minute delays could still shift sentiment before December's ceremony.
