The Odyssey leads trader sentiment at 40.5% implied probability for the 2027 Best Original Score Oscar, fueled by Christopher Nolan’s prestige project and Ludwig Göransson’s attachment as composer. Their prior collaborations on Oppenheimer and Tenet, combined with Göransson’s recent wins and innovative approach using period instruments, create strong early momentum ahead of the film’s July 2026 release. Dune: Part Three (12%) benefits from Hans Zimmer’s established franchise track record, while Project Hail Mary (11%) and Disclosure Day (6.9%) draw support from high-profile directors and sci-fi scope. With dozens of outcomes at 50% and the rest below 5%, the market reflects extreme early uncertainty—guild nominations, first reviews, and chart performance for original songs will likely shift odds once 2026 releases screen.
