The resolution source for this market will be statements from Apple or a consensus of credible reporting.Apple’s strong sales momentum and expanded production for the MacBook Neo, its $599 entry-level laptop with the A18 Pro chip, Liquid Retina display, and Apple Intelligence support, underpin trader consensus that the model will remain available through year-end. Launched in March 2026, it shipped over 1.1 million units in its debut quarter, outselling recent MacBook Air and Pro models while targeting students and first-time buyers, prompting Apple to scale output to roughly 10 million units using additional A18 Pro fabrication. Positive reviews confirm capable everyday performance and battery life despite 8GB RAM limits. While component cost pressures and RAM shortages have prompted speculation about dropping the base 256GB SKU or accelerating a successor with an A19 Pro chip, these factors have not disrupted current availability or indicated full discontinuation.
