If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed team to win the 2027 NFL AFC championship per the rules of the NFL (e.g., they are eliminated in the playoffs), the corresponding market will resolve to “No”. If the 2027 NFL AFC championship game is cancelled, postponed after March 31, 2027 ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The primary resolution source will be official information from NFL (https://www.nfl.com/); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The AFC's 2026 outlook features notable parity, with no single team holding a clear edge heading into the regular season. Buffalo and Baltimore sit atop trader consensus on strong quarterback play from Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson, bolstered by roster additions and new offensive schemes under coordinators like Declan Doyle. Kansas City contends despite Patrick Mahomes' recovery from an ACL tear, while the Chargers, Broncos, and Texans benefit from division depth, recent form, and defensive strengths. Preseason developments, including manageable injury concerns across contenders and coaching transitions in Baltimore, underscore roster health and schedule difficulty as key variables that keep multiple clubs within striking distance for a conference title.
