This market will resolve according to the result of the season series between the Miami Dolphins and New York Jets during the 2026-27 NFL regular season. If the Miami Dolphins win the season series, this market will resolve to “Dolphins”. If the New York Jets win the season series, this market will resolve to “Jets”. If the Miami Dolphins and New York Jets tie the season series, this market will resolve to “tie”. If any scheduled game between the listed teams during the 2026-27 NFL regular season is cancelled, not completed, or otherwise does not produce an official result — including due to a shortened, truncated, or early-ended season — the season series will be determined solely using official results of completed games. If the season is cancelled, no games between the teams are completed, or the result of the season series cannot otherwise be confirmed by January 26, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market will be information from the NFL, however a consensus of credible reporting will also be used. Both teams enter 2026 in rebuild mode following major roster overhauls, with the Dolphins shedding high-salary veterans including the release of Tua Tagovailoa, trade of Jaylen Waddle, and departure of Minkah Fitzpatrick while installing first-year head coach Jeff Hafley and quarterback Malik Willis. The Jets added Fitzpatrick and linebacker Demario Davis, installed Geno Smith as starter, and appear marginally more stable entering training camp despite their own modest expectations. Multiple Dolphins injuries at offensive line, linebacker, and secondary positions during camp, combined with a thin receiving group and tough schedule, have reinforced perceptions of parity between the AFC East rivals. Traders view a split of the two regular-season matchups as the most probable outcome given comparable projected win totals near the bottom of the division.
