Wang Chung-ming, the Kuomintang incumbent magistrate of Lienchiang County (Matsu), holds an 86% implied probability in trader consensus for re-election on November 28, 2026. His position stems from the party's June 2026 nomination, established incumbency since 2022, and the county's consistent KMT alignment in local contests. Independent KMT challenger Tsao Erh-yuan registers at 5%, with Tsao Erh-chang near zero, reflecting limited traction for splinter bids in this small electorate. Broader field entries show minimal market movement, underscoring the structural advantages of party endorsement and name recognition ahead of the vote. No major polling shifts or new candidacies have altered these dynamics in recent weeks.
