Traders see a tightly contested race for the #2 Spotify Global song for the week ending August 28, with several tracks holding roughly equal implied probabilities around the midpoint. Malcolm Todd’s “Earrings” benefits from sustained TikTok-driven streaming velocity and radio airplay that have kept it near the top of daily charts, while Shakira and Burna Boy’s “Dai Dai” draws World Cup-related cultural momentum that has recently cooled. Tame Impala’s “Loser” and newer cuts from Ariana Grande (“Petal,” “hate that i made you love me”) and BTS (“SWIM”) compete on recent release timing and fan streaming spikes, though catalog tracks from established names like Justin Bieber and Dominic Fike lag in current daily velocity. The final tracking days will hinge on consistent global plays amid minimal major new drops.
