This market will resolve to "Yes" if Jennica Pounds, also known as "DataRepublican", provides public testimony before either chamber of the United States Congress (House of Representatives or Senate), or any of their official committees or subcommittees, by October 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". “Public testimony” refers to any testimony that is publicly accessible live (in-person or remote) via official livestream, television broadcast, or other live audio/video distribution. Any testimony or deposition that is closed-door or otherwise not publicly accessible will not qualify, even if recordings or transcripts are later released. The resolution source for this market will be live video or audio of the testimony; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.**Jennica Pounds, known online as DataRepublican, has focused on data analysis of federal spending and NGO funding flows rather than formal public roles that typically lead to congressional testimony.** As a Special Government Employee at the Department of Defense since July 2026 (following expiration of her Pentagon press credentials in June), she operates in a capacity that often limits independent public appearances. Recent public attention has centered on a mid-August dispute involving alleged document handling with a State Department official, resolved through online statements rather than hearings. Pounds, who is deaf and nonspeaking, has relied on text-based communication and data tools (such as datarepublican.com) in her DOGE-adjacent work and media interviews, including a late-August appearance. No congressional committees have announced plans or issued subpoenas for her testimony, and her profile emphasizes analytical contributions over live legislative proceedings. These factors align with traders pricing the "No" outcome at 90.5% through October 31, reflecting the absence of procedural triggers or public momentum for a hearing in the remaining window.
