Recent August 2026 polls for Piura's October 4 municipal election show Miguel Cueva Celi (Somos Perú) and Jorge Flores Bazán (APP) trading narrow leads in a fragmented field, with other contenders like José Morey, Kelly Morillas, and Martín Olivares registering single-digit support. High undecided shares and ongoing campaigning—propaganda rollout, neighborhood meetings, and party endorsements—keep outcomes fluid. Trader pricing aligns with these surveys, reflecting the absence of a clear frontrunner, low name recognition for several candidates, and the potential for late shifts from undecided voters or turnout differences among key provincial blocs before voting.
