This development consolidated support among Republican voters and shifted momentum away from Hollie Noveletsky, the former state party vice chair who had led earlier internal polling. DiLorenzo has also demonstrated stronger fundraising, exceeding $2 million in contributions by late June, compared with lower totals from rivals. Recent candidate debates in mid-August highlighted limited policy differences on issues such as immigration and the economy, with no major new polling or endorsements altering the field since the Trump backing. Minor candidates including Melissa Bailey, Brian Cole, and Elizabeth Girard remain on the ballot but show negligible traction in fundraising or voter attention.
