Morocco’s September 23, 2026, legislative elections feature a crowded field where the Authenticity and Modernity Party (PAM) holds a narrow edge in trader pricing over a wide array of competitors. The race remains tight because the incumbent RNI-led coalition faces measurable erosion in public support amid economic pressures, while PAM has sustained organizational momentum and recent cross-party discussions on electoral rules have not produced decisive shifts. Opposition voices, including the PJD, continue to highlight governance concerns without yet translating into broad polling gains. Historical patterns of fragmented outcomes and the monarchy’s role in post-election government formation further compress probabilities across multiple parties, leaving room for late campaign developments or turnout variations to alter the plurality result before ballots close.
