Recent polls for Israel's October 27, 2026 Knesset election show Likud projected at roughly 20-27 seats amid volatility in voter preferences. Netanyahu's party, currently holding 32 seats and merging with New Hope, faces pressure from Gadi Eisenkot's surging Yashar party, often polling at or ahead of Likud in the low-to-mid 20s, alongside competition from Naftali Bennett's B'Yachad and other centrist options. Factors include lingering effects from the judicial overhaul debate, post-October 7 security challenges, and coalition strains that triggered the vote. Party primaries and list finalization deadlines add short-term movement, while bloc-level dynamics keep neither major alignment near a clear majority. Traders price the 20-29 seat range highest, reflecting this closely contested positioning ahead of the election.
