This market will resolve according to the candidate who wins the 2026 Alaska gubernatorial election currently scheduled for November 3, 2026. If the results of the election are not confirmed by July 31, 2027, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source for this market is the Associated Press, Fox News, and NBC. This market will resolve once all three sources call the race for the same candidate. If all three sources haven’t called the race in Alaska for the same candidate, this market will resolve based on official certification.**Jonathan Kreiss-Tomkins leads the Alaska governor market at 48.3% following Tom Begich’s August 29 withdrawal and endorsement, which consolidated Democratic support ahead of the November 3 ranked-choice general election.** The August 18 top-four primary left Kreiss-Tomkins and Begich as the two leading Democrats (roughly 22% and 20% respectively in unofficial tallies), with Republican Bernadette Wilson (about 10%) and Dave Bronson (about 8%) advancing alongside them; other Republicans such as Treg Taylor and Click Bishop trailed closely. Begich’s exit narrows the Democratic lane and positions Kreiss-Tomkins, a former state representative from Sitka, as the clear left-leaning option in a state where the open seat (incumbent Mike Dunleavy is term-limited) and ranked-choice voting reward broad second- and third-choice support. Wilson, an Anchorage businesswoman and conservative activist, remains the strongest Republican contender at 36.5% amid ongoing party efforts to consolidate behind her ticket. Bronson and lower-listed candidates trail as the field sorts through withdrawal deadlines and ranked-choice dynamics. Market pricing reflects these recent primary results and the immediate consolidation move rather than earlier polling spreads.
