Idaho's non-binding advisory question on the November 2026 ballot asks voters to select one official state gun from six historic firearms, including the Winchester Model 1894, Winchester Model 1873, Colt Peacemaker, M1 Garand, Colt M1911, and Remington Model 700. The measure originated from House Bill 932 passed earlier in 2026, with the option list potentially subject to legislative adjustment. Trader consensus remains closely matched across leading options because the question carries low public visibility, lacks organized advocacy campaigns, and serves only as guidance for future legislative action rather than binding policy. The even pricing reflects uncertainty over voter preferences among iconic Western and military firearms popular in a high-ownership state, with separation likely to emerge from any late polling, media attention, or Legislative Council additions ahead of election day.
