This market will resolve according to the winner of the Republican Primary for United States Senator from Florida. If no 2026 Florida Republican Senate Primary takes place, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source for this market will be the first announcement of the results from the Florida Republican party, however an overwhelming consensus of credible reporting may suffice.Ashley Moody secured the Republican nomination for Florida’s U.S. Senate special election by winning roughly 80 percent of the vote in the August 18, 2026 primary, reflecting her status as the DeSantis-appointed incumbent filling the seat vacated by Marco Rubio. Traders priced her at 100 percent due to early Trump endorsement, broad party support including from Sen. Rick Scott, substantial fundraising exceeding $14 million, and law enforcement endorsements that deterred viable challengers. Minor candidates such as Chris Gleason received limited backing and trailed significantly in returns. With the primary concluded and results certified by state authorities, scenarios that could still affect market resolution include procedural disputes, recounts in specific counties, or delays in official party certification, though the margin makes these outcomes improbable.
