This positions its eventual nominee as the frontrunner in trader assessments. Ismael Burgueño Ruiz, the Tijuana mayor on leave, and Julieta Ramírez Padilla, the senator on leave, lead the party's internal selection process for the nomination, with recent surveys showing fluctuating but competitive margins between them amid active campaigning and large public events. Other aspirants from Morena and opposition parties trail further behind. The market remains sensitive to further polling shifts, party unity developments, and any emerging legal or internal disputes ahead of the nomination decision.
