This market will resolve according to the winner of Titled Tuesday on August 25, 2026 11:59 PM ET. If the listed player does not play their corresponding market will resolve to "No". If this tournament is postponed after September 8, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, canceled, or a winner has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other." If multiple players are declared winner, this market will resolve in favor of the player whose listed name comes first alphabetically. The resolution source for this market will be official information from the tournament organizer, Chess.com (https://www.chess.com/events/info/2026-titled-tuesday-blitz); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Titled Tuesday on August 25 features an 11-round Swiss-system blitz event open to titled players, drawing a deep field that includes Magnus Carlsen, Hikaru Nakamura, Aleksei Sarana, Arjun Erigaisi, Alireza Firouzja, and dozens of other grandmasters. Carlsen’s recent victory on August 4, where he posted 9.5/11 ahead of Erigaisi, underpins his 16.5% market share as the consensus leader, while Nakamura’s historical dominance in the format and consistent top finishes support his 9% pricing. The bunched probabilities across the rest of the field stem from the large participant pool, high variance inherent to blitz, and the need for sustained performance plus favorable tiebreaks over multiple rounds. Recent results show multiple GMs capable of 9+ scores on any Tuesday, keeping the race competitive and preventing any single player from commanding overwhelming implied probability.
