Defending champion Lautaro Martínez leads Argentina’s case alongside Nico Paz, while Portugal benefits from Gonçalo Ramos’ arrival at Milan and France from Marcus Thuram’s consistent output at Inter. Netherlands (Donyell Malen), Italy (local options like Scamacca and Bonazzoli), Serbia, Belgium (De Bruyne at Napoli), and the USA (Pulisic) all feature viable candidates backed by strong attacking sides. Recent early-season scoring bursts and roster changes have kept probabilities bunched, as no single nationality holds a decisive edge in goals-per-game or fixture difficulty heading into September.
