This market will resolve to the player who scores the most goals during the 2026-27 Ligue 1 season. Only goals scored in Ligue 1 matches will count. Goals scored in other competitions (e.g., domestic cups, UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League, UEFA Conference League, international matches) will not count for this market. If multiple players tie for the top goal scorer, this market will resolve to the player whose last name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026-27 Ligue 1 season is canceled or not completed by June 14, 2027, the market will resolve to "Other". The primary resolution source will be official statistics from Ligue 1. A consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The 2026-27 Ligue 1 top goalscorer market remains tightly bunched because no single forward holds a decisive edge in consistent minutes or proven finishing volume. Reigning champion Estéban Lepaul enters with strong continuity at Rennes after extending his contract and posting 21 goals last term, yet PSG’s attacking depth—featuring Ousmane Dembélé, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Désiré Doué, and new signing Ferran Torres—creates rotation risks that cap any one player’s implied probability. Recent opening-weekend developments, including Lepaul’s involvement in a draw against PSG and Torres’s immediate impact off the bench, underscore how injuries, tactical shifts, and fixture congestion can quickly redistribute scoring opportunities among the listed contenders and the broad “Other” category. Trader consensus therefore reflects a genuinely open race shaped by squad rotation and cross-club parity rather than a clear frontrunner.
