The 2026-27 Serie A campaign opened just days ago with Inter Milan, Roma, and Napoli posting strong early results while promoted sides like Monza and Frosinone dropped points. This leaves roughly a dozen clubs clustered in the lower half of the table with comparable squad depth, recent form, and transfer reinforcements. Lazio and Torino edge the market at 50% for finishing exactly 17th because their mid-table profiles, home records, and experienced managers position them to hover near the survival line without dominating or collapsing. The promoted trio plus Lecce carry higher relegation risk per simulations, yet variance in results, injuries, and fixture difficulty means any of the listed teams could land on 17th. Trader pricing reflects this broad uncertainty rather than any single dominant factor.
