The 2026-27 Saudi Pro League season has only just begun, with most clubs having played just one or two matches, leaving clean-sheet tallies too small to separate contenders meaningfully. Established defensive units at Al-Hilal, Al-Nassr, and Al-Ahli—bolstered by goalkeepers such as Yassine Bounou and Edouard Mendy plus organized back lines—carry historical edges in shutouts, yet early results show comparable records across mid-table sides like Al-Qadsiah, Al-Fayha, and Al-Khaleej. Preseason roster stability, home/away splits, and the league’s typical balance of high-scoring attacks versus compact defenses further compress the field, producing tight trader consensus around 45–50% implied probability for the eventual leader.
