The close parity between the Detroit Lions and Green Bay Packers in a competitive NFC North underpins the 48% implied probability on a season series tie. Both clubs enter 2026 with overlapping projected win totals near 10 games and similar offensive firepower, including established quarterbacks in Jared Goff and Jordan Love. The Lions benefit from the NFL’s easiest schedule and roster continuity on offense, while the Packers retain home-field advantage in Lambeau Field for the Week 18 matchup and have addressed defensive depth. Historical patterns in the rivalry show frequent splits, and with the first game set for Week 7 in Detroit, traders appear to view each team as capable of claiming one victory.
