UNLV and New Mexico lead trader consensus on the strength of returning offensive production and coaching continuity under Dan Mullen and Jason Eck, respectively, while North Dakota State’s FBS debut brings FCS-level championship experience and depth. Hawai’i benefits from continuity at quarterback with Micah Alejado, and Air Force maintains its traditional option-attack consistency. Broader factors include a balanced schedule, limited non-conference advantages for most programs, and questions around defensive upgrades across the league. This parity keeps implied probabilities clustered in the low-to-mid 20s for the top trio, underscoring how conference play and injury management will likely decide the champion.
