This market will resolve to “Yes” if LeBron James and Bronny James Jr. join the same NBA roster by the first day of the 2026-27 NBA regular season. Otherwise, this market will resolve to “No”. If both players are on the same franchise's roster, including via two-way contract, this market will resolve to "Yes". Players assigned to the G-League under a two-way contract will count, provided both players are under contract with the same franchise. Players signed exclusively to a G-League contract (not an NBA two-way) will not count. Two-way and 10-day contracts will count toward a “Yes” resolution. Exhibit 10 deals will not count toward a “Yes” resolution. The primary resolution source will be official information from the NBA and/or the acquiring team; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.**LeBron James' decision to depart the Lakers as an unrestricted free agent after the 2025-26 season, followed by his two-year veteran's minimum deal with the Philadelphia 76ers, has driven overwhelming trader consensus against the pair sharing a roster in 2026-27.** LeBron informed Los Angeles in late June 2026 that he would play his record 24th NBA season elsewhere to pursue competitive opportunities, ending his eight-year Lakers tenure that included the 2020 title and the historic father-son pairing with Bronny. The 41-year-old's move to Philadelphia, alongside stars like Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey, leaves Bronny—who remains under his rookie-scale contract with the Lakers—on a different team. The Lakers fully guaranteed Bronny's 2026-27 salary in June, signaling continued investment in the second-year guard's development amid roster continuity around players like Austin Reaves and Luka Dončić. No credible reports indicate a trade reuniting them, and LeBron's stated focus on championship contention at this career stage makes such a move improbable. While trades, injuries, or midseason roster shifts remain theoretically possible in the NBA, the separation of the two players across organizations underpins the near-certain market pricing.
