This market will resolve to “Yes” if Ken Martin ceases to be Chair of the Democratic National Committee for any period of time between market creation and the specified date (ET). Otherwise, this market will resolve to “No”. An announcement of Mr. Martin's resignation/removal before this market's end date will immediately resolve this market to "Yes", regardless of when the announced resignation/removal goes into effect. The resolution source for this market will be official information from Ken Martin and the Democratic National Committee; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Ken Martin has led the DNC since February 2025 amid ongoing scrutiny over the committee’s finances, with roughly $18 million in debt against limited cash on hand compared to the well-funded RNC. Critics point to internal leaks, donor dissatisfaction, and perceived lack of visibility, prompting Martin to seek outside fundraising help and privately signal openness to operational changes. He remains publicly defiant, citing record off-year fundraising and recent electoral wins, while retaining broad support among DNC members who view midterms in November 2026 as the priority. A leadership shift appears unlikely before those contests but could gain traction at the winter meeting afterward as the party prepares for the 2028 cycle.
