Western Bulldogs enter the matchup as clear favorites, reflecting their stronger recent form and mid-table positioning on the 2026 AFL ladder compared with Richmond’s struggles near the bottom. The Dogs have secured seven wins in their last 10 outings, including gritty victories over Gold Coast and West Coast, while benefiting from key returns such as Tom Liberatore from knee soreness. Richmond, winless in their previous seven and conceding heavy margins, have been further hampered by absences including Noah Balta (toe) and Steely Green (concussion), leaving them short on depth and competitiveness. Historical results reinforce the gap, with the Bulldogs prevailing in their last three encounters by an average of 75 points. Trader pricing aligns with these trends in team momentum, roster availability, and head-to-head records.
