Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe enter the 2026-27 Süper Lig as near co-favorites, their 41% and 38.5% implied probabilities reflecting comparable squad depth after both clubs retained core attacking talent while addressing midfield and defensive needs. Galatasaray’s edge stems from Okan Buruk’s four-year title streak, Victor Osimhen’s continued presence, and greater continuity, though a 2-2 draw with promoted Çorum FK in round one highlighted early vulnerabilities. Fenerbahçe countered with one of the league’s most expensive windows, adding Mason Greenwood, Romelu Lukaku, Nathan Aké, and Vedat Muriqi to an already stacked roster, positioning them to challenge for the first time in over a decade. Trabzonspor’s 19.5% probability is driven by Mohamed Salah’s arrival, while Beşiktaş’s 16% reflects parallel heavy spending on players like Leandro Trossard. The tight spread among the traditional powers underscores a season defined by transfer-market parity and the difficulty of separating Istanbul’s two giants over a 34-match campaign.
