The Czech Chance Liga's 2026-27 runner-up race remains tightly bunched early in the campaign because Slavia Prague's dominance for the title leaves a wide-open contest for second among several clubs with comparable squad depth and recent form. Sparta Prague faces pressure after two trophyless seasons and mixed summer transfers, while Viktoria Plzeň, Slovan Liberec, Sigma Olomouc, and Jablonec have shown resilience in pre-season models and initial fixtures. Mladá Boleslav's strong start and Hradec Králové's consistency add further parity, with league models projecting close point totals in the 50-60 range for the group behind the leaders. Early volatility, head-to-head history among these sides, and no standout favorite below Slavia sustain the competitive balance reflected in trader pricing.
