Angel Reese holds a commanding position in the WNBA rebounds-per-game market due to her league-leading 12.4 rebounds per game across 37 contests with the Atlanta Dream, including a WNBA-record 26-rebound outing on August 25 that also pushed her past the single-season total rebounds mark. Her combination of high-minute usage, elite offensive rebounding, and consistent double-double production has created a substantial gap over second-place Jessica Shepard at 11.1 per game. Recent form, including multiple 14-plus rebound performances in late August, reinforces the separation. A late-season injury sidelining Reese for multiple remaining games or an unprecedented surge by Shepard could narrow the margin, though both outcomes face steep hurdles given the current standings and schedule.
