Caitlin Clark and Alyssa Thomas remain locked in a tight race for the WNBA assists per game lead, both averaging 8.3 APG through roughly 33-35 games, while Jordin Canada sits third at 7.4-7.5. Clark's recent form, including multiple 10-assist outings, a late-August Eastern Conference Player of the Week award, and continued leadership in total assists, has helped sustain her narrow edge in trader consensus. Thomas maintains strong volume with high minutes and efficient distribution for Phoenix, keeping the gap narrow. Canada trails by a meaningful margin despite solid totals, and the rest of the field sits well behind on current pace. The market reflects this head-to-head battle with limited room for late surges from others.
