This market will resolve to "Yes" if Valve officially releases Deadlock by December 31, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No." For the purposes of this market, "officially released" is defined as Deadlock being made publicly available to all players without requiring an invite, key, or any other form of restricted access on at least one platform. A transition to open Early Access on Steam qualifies as an official release, provided it is accessible to the general public without restrictions. An invite-only playtest, closed beta, or limited technical test does not qualify, regardless of player count or media coverage. For the purpose of this market, "Valve" refers to Valve Corporation, the developer and publisher of Deadlock. The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from Valve and the Deadlock Steam page (https://store.steampowered.com/app/1422450/Deadlock/). However, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Valve's ongoing cadence of balance patches and content drops, including the August 12, 2026 update with hero tweaks and the July ranked-mode rework, keeps trader sentiment leaning toward a 2026 launch. With 38 heroes now playable and player counts spiking during recent waves, the invite-only playtest shows accelerating polish rather than stagnation. Yet the Steam page still flags temporary assets and experimental systems, echoing Valve's history of extended refinement on titles like Dota 2. Community trackers point to late-2026 full release as plausible if an open beta arrives this fall, while skeptics note missing final art and retention features. Upcoming major patches or a store-page shift would likely move the implied probability most sharply in the months ahead.
